The defending World Series Champions, St. Louis Cardinals, have arrived at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, FL.
With all that happened in the off season (Pujols trade, Matheny as new manager) there is a different attitude going around the clubhouse but it remains positive.

The new and improved Miami Marlins have also arrived to Roger Dean Stadium.
If many of you are like me and have been a Marlins fan from the inaugural season in 1993 than 11/11/11 was a day of excitement after all the anticipation. As it is very different than what we all expected, the logo is very appropriate to the Marlins move.
The Marlins changed their name to Miami because of the move to the heart of Miami in Little Havana. With a move farther south meant a new ballpark. Since the plan first evolved they were going to come out with a new name and logo to run with the stadium for marketing reasons. All the Marlins fans out there satisfied or not with the new logo will buy apparel and merchandise to support their home team.
The new ballpark is one of few reasons why the fans will get to love and like their freshly new and improved Marlins. The park is one of baseball’s premiere parks. It has many great features which include
-private lounge area with a pool to swim
-retractable roof with A/C for the unpredictable South Florida weather
-views of downtown from the seating in the ballpark
-closest seats playing field in all of baseball

The Marlins have also increased their payroll between the range of $80-85 million. This is a huge increase from the payrolls they’ve had in recent years. This increase will give them the ability to sign more players that could potentially be huge assets to the team. Hanley Ramirez, Mike Stanton, Josh Johnson are all going to be around for a while so the signing of a couple other well known names in baseball will make Miami the place to come watch some great baseball.
For all the Yankee fans, the Marlins will be hosting the Yankees for two exhibition games on April 1-2, 2012.
